I live and work in the SW of the UK, a beautiful place to roam and hike with two joyful orange dogs.

I have a life-long love of Buddhist meditation and Western Psychology. Core Process Psychotherapy brings together these two passions.

I worked for more than 15 years in the field of mental health and social care research, talking to people from all walks of life about their mental health experiences and developing interventions to support them. I am a qualified mindfulness teacher, I regularly attend and support meditation retreats at Gaia House retreat centre in Devon, and I have a PhD in Psychology.

Mark Coleman is the founder of Awake in the Wild and Martin Aylward is the co-founder and Director of Le Moulin retreat centre in South France.

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION AND MOVEMENT PRACTICES
I have been meditating and doing mindfulness practice and retreats since 2008. I have a deep love and respect for dharma and meditation and its power in healing and building connection and community. I regularly attend or support in-person and online retreats at Gaia House, and have a weekly Insight Dialogue group, practicing relational mindfulness. These ongoing relationships with Sangha (community) deeply inform and nourish my work as a psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher.

I practice Qi Gong and can bring simple mindful movements in to my therapeutic work where it is helpful for people, for example in learning a movement that can help with finding calmness in a moment of worry.  or to help those new to Mindfulness to access bodily sensations.
